At another Cement plant after a period of time ,the VRM roller hub had a reduction in diameter due to compressive load.  This was successfully reclaimed and machined using XL – C30 alloy and two of such hubs are in service since last two years without any problem.The new hub costed  $28,000. Cost of repair was only $2,300.
